I-130 for spouse...

hi,

I have applied I-130 for my husband on june 2003..NVC approved my case on sept 2005...On april 30, 2007 they sent me the Affidavit of support fee bill form and choice of agent form for my husband and a copy of the same for me

Can someone advice me of how long does it take from now on till my husband get his visa...He is gonna go to chennai consulate for visa processing...
I have called up NVC today but they said they wont be able to give me a timeframe...but on the letter it says, usually they send this form when a visa number is available in next 9 months...Is it so?

Its been almost 4yrs now and i am eagerly waiting for all the paperworks..
Do u think he will get the visa in less than a year???

are you a US citizen or a resident? if you are a resident, then those who filed before 08APR02 are getting visas right now. So, I'd say it's another year at least. If you become a citizen, it'll go faster.
 
I am not a US citizen yet...have applied for the citizenship on march..interview is next month..hoping to upgrade I-130 if i become a citizen...
thanx a lot for ur response..talked to one of my friend who has applied for her spouse on dec 2002 and yet waiting for the interview call from chennai consulate..they say they r processing april 2002 now and will send the forms once visa number is available for dec 2002...
well, God knows when they gonna call my husband..
 
He will definitely be here in less than a year if you get your naturalization certificate in a few months (that's actually pretty fast processing for citizenship: applied in March, interview is in June).
