Any complete guide here?

What's the true goal of the interview? Just to check the validity of marriage or see face to face and show proof of evidence?


Thanks for any tips on how to prepare and score it.
 
If your marriage is genuine, there is nothing you should worry about. You can answer anything they ask without "rehearsing".
 
There is no need for preparation. The best thing about the truth is, you do not have to remember what you said :)

Seriously, no preparation at all?


Just ask basic questions like : where did you meet? How's your honeymoon? What are the names of parents in law? How much is the rent?

Not necessarily so simple. Some people get into trouble because they couldn't answer a question correctly about their spouse. Preparation is important. Both spouses should know facts about each other such as which city they were born, what their spouse's country of citizenship is (which may be different from the birth country), which university they went to (if any), their middle name (all of them, if they have more than one middle name) ... believe it or not, people do sometimes mess up on those seemingly simply questions.
 
1) Do NOT lie.
2) Do NOT volunteer information.
3) Keep your answers short "yes" or "no".
4) Organize your documents and make copies of them.
5) Keep your cool, it's not a big deal, only your life!

True goal of the interview is to make sure you did not enter into marriage solely for the purpose of immigration benefit (GC). Checking the validity, asking for evidence, pictures, questioning etc is all to meet that goal.
