I petitioned I-130 for my son on 2003 and the case has been approved. My son got married on 2006 and at the same year, I sent a letter and my son's marriage certificate to inform the USCIS this change. However I have never received any response from the USCIS.
In order to make sure the USCIS knows this change, I went to the USCIS local office in San Francisco last week and tried to give them the letter and marriage certificate. But the USCIS didn't accept that. They told me that they don't charge for this matter because my case has been approved already.
So, I have no idea which office I should inform? The USCIS or NVC? Do I need fill out any form or just letter and marriage certificate? Will I get any notification form the office?
Thank you!
