Hi,
I am married GC holder for last 4.5 years and would like to start collecting paper work for citizenship application in Boston, MA. Please help me get started. Kids were born here so no info required in that regard.

1) Which form?
2) How long it takes.
3) Documents required at the time of application.
4) Fees.

Thanks
BK

Start making a list of all your trips of over 24 hours since you got your GC, and information about residences where you lived, and places you worked for the last 5 years. Check the N-400 form about what information you need to fill. For regular cases there is very little documents you actually need to provide, basically a couple of passport photos and a photocopy of both sides of your GC, that's it, but double check with the guide to naturalization, as I am quoting from memory and I filled out the application two years ago or so.

guys please help me

I am getting ready to prepare my citizenship application, the form N-400 printed from USCIS website say expires 10/31/08. Can I use same form or need newer version. where can I get that.

Secondly, Part 5 , B - Employer name.

The question is I been working for same company for last 8 years, but the Company name has changed three times.

so in the colume where it says Employer name - should I write current name only or all the three different names in different rows and than enter the dates when the name is changed.and address column will have same address.

Third question is about Middle name.(Part 1 C) I have used middle name before but it is not on the green card. I have to declare it , how it is going to effect on my application. looks like careless mistake but if IO ask about it, dont know how to justify.

Please let me know . Thanks for your help

Yes, you can use the expired form until further notice from USCIS

Write all three names the company has had in one row. How you document this won't affect your processing.

Don't worry about this. Declaring middle name on application eventhough it doesn't appear on green card is not an issue. When they run name check, they will run it using middle name , and also without.

They know that names are frequently omitted from the green card, or abbreviated. That's why they have one question for your legal name, and another for the name that is displayed on your green card. Write in or leave out your names accordingly for part A and B, and don't worry about it. You wouldn't have to write anything for part C, if A and B have already listed all variations and omissions of your names that you have used.
