how to find my name check status?

I called TSC to find out if my background checks are completed yet but the lady said she cannot provide me with that information,is there anyway I can find out the status of my background checks?

I am not sure if there are different ways to find out about it, but for me the IO I talked to during my Infopass appointment told me that all my background checks including name check is back and clear. Maybe you can make an infopass and try to find out that way?

I made an info pass long time ago and it was useless the IO told me that she doesn't have any access to my case she said inorder to get specific info about my case I have to contact the TSC.
the weired thing is about 5 months ago I called TSC and the IO told me that my FP and name check are cleared,but last month I received a response to case status referral saying that my case is delayed because my background checks are not completed yet,I don't know who to beleive.now they are not providing any info about name checks over the phone(said the IO) I don't know why.

do you know if this number provide info about name check? because I called another FBI number (3046252406) ,I spoke to a customer service rep she told me that this number is for finger print checks which is different from name check she said that name checks are done by FBI agency in DC,
and they don't give any information about name checks over the phone she also said that they have a huge backlog.

when u call 304-6252000 just press#3 and wait for customer serv she(he) will ask u about your alien number and will provide you with information needed but this only if your fingerprint were sent by uscis i called this number last week and she gave me the exact date .that's for sure this number is in west viginia (eastern time)good luck
