how to fill last name & expire date on I130/485?

1. Current status expire date.
my I-20 expire at 08/30/2004, I am going to get marry at the beginning of Aug.
School start at 08/24/2004, by the day, I can file to extend my I-20.

should I wait till get the new I-20 form or just put in 08/30/2004, and mail it out before that day? and dont need to extend I-20 any more?

2. Last name
After marry, my last name going to change, should I use my married name or maiden name? Is it matter if the last name is different with my passport?

I am an F-1 student myself, so you put the date on your I-94 there - which is D/S.

2. you can use your married name if you change it after you get married. No problem if it's different from your passport. When you travel overseas, you just carry a marriage certificate with you.
