Just curious if its a good idea to apply online or just go to POE.

Just offered a new job and a TN letter provided to me, i did ask the consultancy if they can file through mail but they really don't know how to do it and neither do i.

I have around 15 days till my old tn expires (still working with old job).

Any advice if i should do it through mail or poe? If by mail can someone tell me what forms to fill out?
Thanks

E-file form I-129, from the USCIS website. You still have to submit all the paperwork afterwards, so I don't see the advantage of e-filing TN over mailing in, other than the fact that you can do the e-file, while company must sign the mail-in.

If you close to the border just go there.

I was going to go to the border which is close by, its just after coming on this boards i got so confused.

So many places it says if your going for MC don't go to the border just do a mail in otherwise you can denied easily etc

Thanks

Mailing in whan you are close to the botrder, is not that useful, since in all likelihood you will travel before your TN is approved, which will mean getting TN at the border anyways.

Just go to border, before expiry, with a solid package.

Just a quick Q

I will be taking the following

TN-Letter
Degrees
Passport

Should i also take my
Resume
Letters from previous employers?
Does this make sense, since i have the degree(Bachalors)

Thanks

If your degree qualifies you for TN (ie. if you have an MC degree), then letters are of no use. If your degree doesn't qualify you (which is possible for MC), then only letters will do.

In any event, you got MC TN before; no need to change what you did last year.

I have a Bachelors in Business administration from US and a Masters in Business Administration from US as well.

Thanks

thank you for all your help. I just hope this economic downturn does not make the officer change his mind.
