how to continue studies???

I am/was? on pending AOS status currently studying (undergrad ) in the US.I juz found out today that my dads ex-employer , who laid him off (before even 180 of filing I-485) withdrew the GC process 4 months back & that we’ll lose our AOS status soon. What/how are my chances to continue my remaining years of university study?

I have heard that it is almost imposible to get a F1 visa after you have shown intent of living in the US?
What is my best bet.....to apply for F1 in canada ...i am soooo confused...pls help..any advice is welcome !!! THANK YOU

you need a good lawyer

did your father used EAD or still on H1 status, if he is on H1 status then you can go out and can get H4 visa stamp based on his H1. your father may also get new job by H1 transfer if he has recent pay stubs and his H1 status not expired and EAD not used by him. you and your father should meet the lawyer and ask for the options. ask your father if his LC was filed before 31 April 2001 and inform the lawyer and ask lawyer if your father can be grandfathred for 245(i)

I am already 21 so cannot get H4 !!!
yes my dad has EAD...& since he applied on L1 visa status din have to get LC !
