how to change the last name

I am a citizen of Indian and living in the USA on student visa. Since I am married I want to change my last name to my husband's last name. My status was changed from H4 to F1 while I was in the usa only, therefore I don't have a visa stamp on my passport. My driver's license, social security card, visa approval and passport are on my maiden name only. Does anybody have the information as to how to change the maiden name and what happens to I-20 and visa approval in the name changing process?

you don't really have to change the name, but if you want to, you will start with changing it on your I-20, passport (if your country allows it), SSN, driver's license, credit cards, etc. You will need your original marriage certificate for that.
