How often can a green card be won?

I have won a green card in DV2011, but somehow I have rethought about it and decided not to go to the US within about 2-3 years. At the moment I have some other problems. So I thought I will take part at DV lottery after 2-3 years again. Has someone done similar and is the chance to win after several years again good?

(I am actually unsure about not taking the green card because it will be difficult and slow to bring parents to USA. My parents need me so my choice can be only USA or parents. As I am living in Europe I have no urgent need to get to USA).
 
Your parents can apply for a visa after you become a citizen which will take approx. 6 yrs...If you win DV 2011 you won't have your GC until next yr and from that date it takes 5 yrs to become a citizen...so a total of 6 yrs.

If you don't go forward you still have the right to enter every single yr. I think you are smart not to waste your money and think before you go forward...now some one else can go who really wants to.
 
i suggest you to take the green card now, and come back to you country time to time, take care of your parents,as soon as you get the citizenship you bring your parents in US. There is another way to once you get inside US you can always bring your parents in the form of tourist visa ( at the least). If you are very very lucky you can win DV every year.But most of us are not that luck and i bet you are the one too
 
Take it now buddy. You may never get the chance again. You should have thought about this before applying and taking somebody else's opportunity. Some people on this forum have been applying since 1993 and still nothing.
Get the card and once you become a citizen(in 5 years) your parents will easily get the green card.
 
It is better to take the Green card offer now. Since it is so hard to get selected in green card lottery and you have won and it is great thing. It will take another 5 years to apply and get citizenship so do not miss good opportunity coming right for you.
