How much time to wait?

Hi,
I recently got my H-1B approval, just a week ago. I did the H1-B application my self. Now, I want to start the process of labor certification through a lawyer.
Is there a minimum period that I have to be on H-1 before I sart the next stage? Or it doesn't matter.
Secondly, any recommendations for a good lawyer in Atlanta, GA area?
