I just resigned from my current TN job, as I got a better job offer back in Canada.

My TN is valid until next year, same as my wife's TD. Is there any time limit, that i can stay here. I am planning to stay here with my wife for 2 week after my last day at work.

looking forward to hear back from you guys.

You are out of status the moment you quit your job. (But you will not be accruing illegal presence since your I-94 is still valid.) Therefore you should leave ASAP - 2 weeks is okay I guess, since some time is required to pack up your belongings.

While on the one hand you are without status, nothing is sent to USCIS indicating you have resigned (at least not to my knowledge). In addition to this if you have a passport, your passport will be stamped with your last entry date which, I assume is still within the last year which in turn matches your I-94 (only an assumption). So in the eyes of USCIS, your are still working for the company and in status unless otherwise noted. Most employers only care about state and federal labor laws and not immigration. It would be reasonable to assume if you have resigned that you would need some time to get your affairs in order to leave. Two weeks to a month would make sense.

There is no visa requirement between Canada and US so you probably won't be out of status as long as I-94 mentioned the validity or expiratoin date.

Wrong. Your status was based on being employed by your TN employer. Once employment ceases, you are out of status. You start accruing illegal presence after the expiration of the I-94.

had you filed an I-539 the day you resigned, you would be entitled to up to 6 months top 'pack up'.
