How much time does it take for the certification paperwork to arrive?

hi,ftsoh, i really hope what my lawyer said is wrong. i waited more than 4.5 years to get the labor approved. now i still can not apply for concurrent I140/I485 because of DOL mistakes, and IF what he said is true, i have to wait another year to get I140 approved. anyway, the nightmare just not ends yet.

I agree. I said exactly the same thing in my previous posts. I am very very depressed now because of this.

I am in the same situation. Never received the approval letter. My case was certified october last year. Applied for I-140 regular with the request for duplicate LC on Jan 10th 2007. Still haven't received i-140 receipt number. How long did it take for you to receive the receipt number?

thanks..

My employer receive the receipt about 2-3 weeks after the I-140 was filed. Your's should be coming soon.

Received Paperwork

My attorney notified me today that he already received the LC paperwork(don't know the exact date when he received the paperwork). It looks like my employer got the final determination letter two weeks back. Any way, they forget to notify me :) :) .

According to online case status, my labor was certified on 01/09/2007. But the letter is dated on 01/08/2007.

Hopefully, everyone will get out of this PBEC soon.

Certification received

Our paralegal confirmed that they have received the necessary LC paper-works. Its 9 calendar days since the PDS status changed to certified.

Finally !!!

My lawyer finally received the certified labor. It has been 3 months exactly from the date of approval

I can now move on to the rest :) Good luck to all of you guys :D

Congratulations! Now you can finally file concurrent. I envy you. :)

My LC was certified a week after you. Hopefully I will receive mine soon too.

Thanks :) If you get the LC soon, see with your lawyer if you can't change to premium processing by submittimg the approved LC and the associated fees.

It should be possible ...

I will consider that, if I ever receive the LC.

A question for you, do you receive the LC with your approval letter or you receive them separately? My employer receive the apporval letter without the LC but both myself and my lawyer did not receive anything from PBEC.

Same for me. My employer received the approval letter about 10 days after the approval. My lawyer and myself never received anything.

Now my lawyer received the certified forms but I still haven't received anything. So keep your fingers crossed, your lawyer should get it soon :)

Thanks MDwatch. Your news really bring my hope up. I have to start praying now.

Congratulations MDWatch - I guess you can go for Concurrent processing. Good Luck.

I just wanted all of you not to lose hope, as the website still showed me as "in-process" even after I received my hard copy in the mail.
It finall turned to certified yesterday 13 days after my approval date & 8 days after the date of receipt of the hard copy.

So don't lose hope!
Good luck to all of you waiting!

Approval Letter

My employer received today the "hard copy". It took 13 days from the approval date. We were just waiting for that document to present I-140.

My lawyer received the actual LC docs last week after I saw it online as Certified on 1/16/07. We are yet to file I-140.

Waited years...how about a few more days

I have waited years 6 + years to see my case go certified. But i find it hard to wait one day to see if the attorneys got my approval letter.

Comeon BEC...Fedex it ...Overnight Delivery

My labor was approved on 11th of January. Status on DOL web site was updated on 22nd of January.

Have NOT received the Original LC yet. I am kind of worried now. What are my options if my LC is lost.

1) Can I do concurrent filing? (my dates are current)
2) Can I do premium processing on I-140?
3) In case I can not do premium processing, can I file regular I-140 and I-485 at the same time?

Will appreciate ur comments

Should I go ahead and file for I-140 with duplicate request or should I wait?

Any suggestion/advice plz.

I waited for 3 months and it finally came. Now I can file concurently for I-140 and I-485.

I think you should wait a little longer because you would be better off filing everything concurently. In the mean time, do your immigration medical exam and gather all the paperwork that you need for the I-485 ....

I waited a month before I filed I-140.

Over 3 months had passed now and I still did not receive the LC. I already give up any hope.
