How many days for approval after RFE

Where Employee was born?

I called USCIS and my HR Director also joins from Head Office as more than 80 days from RFE have passed. First question from customer service to my HR Director was " Which Country Your Employee was born"? When he was told Pakistan, there was a big HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

I think Bush should recall Army from Iraq and send to USCIS.
 
Itz been more than 120 days since I filed for RFE response and have not heard anything from them. I hope they approve it fast.......
 
Just received notification that they approved my EAD. See signature. Hope my I-140 and H1B next. Praying and waiting.
 
More than 90 days after RFE

I submitted my RFE on 4/06/06. There were two LUDs on 06/26/06 and 06/27/06. No message since then. Praying and hoping.

Finaly got Approval for my i-140 :) ...now wait a loooooooooooong wait for EB3 i-485 to become current :mad:

Any other updates on your case? I received the same response when we requested for an update from USCIS. My last LUD was Mar, 2006.

Hi joshuapierre,

Same thing no LUD for my I-140. I'll keep you posted if i hear something from my lawyer. he said he will initiate another inquiry in September...
 
My case is finally approved

My case was finally approved on July 20, 2006. I received the letter through my employer and lawyer as well.

I-140 Finally Approved after 2 RFEs

My wife is a Physical Therapist so she is not affected by retrogession. We filed concurrently in Sep 2005 and got 2 RFEs on 140 and 1 on 485 which have all be replied and finally our 140 is approved today.

To help people who are tracking similar cases the details of last RFE are below

140 applied 09/26/2005
2nd 140 RFE got on 03/18/2006
replied 140 RFE on 06/18/2006 (My attorney loves to use all days available) :)
1st LUD on 06/23/2006
2nd LUD on 06/24/2006

As almost 8 weeks were completing and there was no LUD I called up USCIS customer support knowing they are going to tell me the same thing as posted on the site yet however made the call on 08/14/2006 and the rep told to initiate an inquiry by the attorney regarding status of 140.

Today within in 18 hrs of making that call got the email that 140 is approved and it took almost 9 months to get this approval. For us the 485 is current as there is no retrogession as of now but is expected to hit around Oct 06 so hoping that the 485 gets approved fast. Best of luck to all who are still waiting for 140 and now I will get in line for 485.....

Same here MainGC. My 1-485 will be current next month but I-140 is not approve yet still waiting.....

I don't understand what they are doing with our cases. The processing date shows April 2006 and no clue about our cases. Anyways did you lawyer initiate an enquiry?

Yes, my lawyer initiated inquiry and USCIS said they are actively working with it and if no update after 6 months we'll need to call the service center. So we'll see after 6 months. Will let you know.
 
Guys,

My lawyer just upgraded my I-140 application to premium processing. I have been waiting for approval since replying to RFE on 2/25/06. We'll see how this premium processing works. I'll let you know.
 
I-140 Approved At Last !!!

Guys,

After filling for premium processing this week to be exact last tuesday. My I-140 has been finally approved !!!! after 14 months....... Now waiting for I-1485 .. hopefully it will be fast...

Hi,

Yes, It was due to premium processing. I have the receipt when my lawyer upgraded and filed it last week. After that I saw one LUD then approval. You can PM me ... good luck to you..

Unfortunately they have not started the I-140 premium processing for EB2 categories.

Anyways all the best for your I-485.
