How long will H1B extension process take?

My H1B ends in Early May. I am going to extend my first renewal H1B in the middle of January since I am waiting for Prevailing Wage Form Request.

I wonder whether I need Preminum processing at this time......

Does anyone know how H1B extension process will take?

--------------if you need H1 approval in 20-25 days then file with Preminum processing

Extension MUST reach USCIS before I-94 gets expired or one can file 6 months advance of I-94 expiry
