how long to wait for 2B after arriving in US?

All,
My girl friend has family based green card for unmarried child (2B) application which should hopefully become current within the next 6 months. I am here in H1 status. After she arrives in US, we plan to get married in India.

1. From what we know, she should get her green card in a month after arriving in US? (She would get her EAD at the airport and then green card in a month)

2. Is there any time period she has to wait before she can travel back to India and get married? Assuming it takes 1 month to get her green card, can she travel outside US/get married in India after 1 month?

1) if she is arriving with an immigrant visa, she will not get an EAD at the airport. She will immediately become an LPR.
2) Not really, if she is planning to come back pretty soon to actually reside in the States.
