How long does removal of conditions take?

I filed for the removal of conditions in Mid april. I got my biometrics appt for the end of April, and the last updated field for the case is 4/30/09. Since then, nothing. How long does it normally take for the removal of conditions to be processed?

It varies. Some get adjudicated within 3 months and some go beyond 12 months. Do not worry about it. One way of forcing an I-751 to be adjudicated is to file an N-400 when the time comes.

What is ur DO? The Service Center might have send it locally for a routine interview and they are still working the schedules to accomodate you. I would schedule an info pass if I were in your shoes...:cool:

I also just filed for removal of conditions....where and how can i check for updates or any progress? I just sent my application 3 days ago n i know it was recieved but i dont have any letter from uscis.....do they give a case number or something?

USCIS will get back to you once they have cashed your check. Make sure sufficient funds are in the checking account. smile :) Once that is done, will mail you a NOA which indicate what will be the next steps. :smile..:) In addition, 3 days is unheard of for USCIS to do anything about new application, so just find a relaxation pill...:)
 
I got a note from USCIS 2 days ago, saying my petition to remove conditions has been approved, and that I should be receiving my 10 year green card within 30 days! Yay!

Now I have to figure out how to apply for naturalization.
