How long did it take you to get GC after "the card was ordered" notice?

Can anybody remember, if possible, the exact date when the notice was sent to you via e-mal or regular mail and what was the actual date you had your GC on hand? I'm still waiting for my GC because god blessed NJ DMV won't recognize my temp. I-551 stamp for renewing my DL. More details you give the better as i keep receiving updates online and trying to figure out how long it's gonna take me to get the actual card. Just to calm down.:confused: :eek:
 
Empanado, do you remember what did your welcome notices say? Apparently, i can tell that there is no change in LUD of my I 445, but the welcome notice i've received this monday has a different receipt number and mention form I 181 ( creating of permanent residence record). I've been reading this forum for the last 2 days just to find out who received the notice about ordering the card and so far it takes about 4-6 business days. But i would really love to hear from more people. Let's call it a statistics.:D
 
Well... from the day I got the email saying that a my case had been approved and they had ordered a new card, to the day a got the "welcome" notice where they say your rights and responsibilities a permanent resident -- exactly four business days elapsed.

The very next day after I received the welcome notice, I received the actual card.

I have seen cases on this forum where the actual card is received first or at the same time as the welcome notice.
 
I've actually received the 2nd welcome notice today and it looks exactly as the 1st one. Expecting to receive the card every day. Let's hope they will not screw up with it.

BTW, i've called Agences Servises - the establishment that actually conrtolls the work of MVC agencies, so it looks like the superviser who didn't accept my temp. I-551 stamp might be punished.:D
 
Charlize.. It took exactly 7 days from the time I got the email saying "my card was ordered" to the day I receive both the welcome notice and green card in hand.

Got the plastic today!

Yep, it happened - got that damn card on the mail today, look like sh*t on the picture, but who cares, i've got it!:D

BTW, i renewed my DL yesterday :) and god knows how nervouse was i driving with an expired one.

It's backdated to 03/09/06 ( So, i believe in the beginning of december 2010 i can file for citizenship).
