How long after entry on B-2 Visit visa before applying for Parents' GC/I-485 ?

I am a US citizen. My parents came into the US recently on a B-2 Visitor visa and have been granted 6 months stay. I will be applying for their Green Card (I-130+I-485) myself. I heard people say you should not apply immediately as it tells the USCIS that immigrating to US was pre-planned when applying for B-2 visa.

How long should I wait before filing?

Or; should I renew the B-2 Visa for another 6 months and then apply?
 
Did they plan to immigrate and hide that intent when applying for the B-2 visas OR at the time of most recent entry as "tourists"?

Do you mean apply for an extension of stay while they're in the US? B-2 extensions are seldom granted for spouses and parents of US citizens.

You can apply after 3 mts
Make sure you dont do for medical exam for your mother before 3mts.
Try to do all the paper work after 3mts. good luck
Best thing to do is CP, In you home country.
