Hello,

With a H1B visa expiring on June 30, 2008:

1) When is the earliest my employer can apply for extension?
2) What about the 10 days the job has to be posted?
3) Is the documentation the same as 1st time visa?

Thanks.

------------------ 6 months advance of I-94 expiry date.

2) What about the 10 days the job has to be posted?
-------that is not for H1 extension
3) Is the documentation the same as 1st time visa?
-----Visa is Visa stamp from US consulate H1 extension is filed with USCIS and after approval USCIS sends H1 extension approval notice to lawyer/employer
Thanks.

are you Primary Care Physician/Internist? if not why you are reading that?

I read that because it gives details on H1 extension... Yes I am a physician. Whatever job title you have, H1 extension is the same for everybody...

for LC filing job posting is needed.

This is what I thought, so I was confused for a moment when I read your reply saying that it wasn't required... Now you're saying it's needed.

if confused talk to your lawyer/employer

Of course I know this option, but it won't be necessary...

:) :)

----------------what I posted is that for LC filing posting is needed. LCA and LC are Different .
