Hello, how does refugee/Asylee process works?
I tried asking this simple question to One ID moniker - NIMCHE who is from Iran but he said he does not want to answer this question. No reason why.
Now this is a POLITICAL Asylum forum.
Nimche says he is an Religious asylee/refugee(?) from Iran and he went to Austria first and then came to US. He also said he was scared whether he will have to answer questions regarding his Asylum Green card during the Citizenship interview! I found that remarkable! and very odd indeed.
Is anyone here who can honestly clarify this process.
Also I am confused as to why an asylee/refugee whose main/primary/sole aim is to flee/escape perseution that he/she claims he/she had to endure - would not seek asylum in a democratic but average/poor country economy wise?
If not, isn't one aim of a refugee/asylee is to gain entry into an economically prosperous country? (I think so - personal opinion) But then this whole asylee/refugee process's secondary aim seems to be to gain dollars. Isn't that so?
make your own reasonable arguments please, I have made mine.
Be polite.
Thanks.
