How does it work ? Attorney and Interview

In most cases adjustment of status application is filled by lawyer who doesn't live and work in or near Local INS office (District office). If someone gets interview his/her case is transffered to local INS office. SO how does An attorney accompany their client ?
if some one works on east coast and has retained lawyer from west coast , it could cost lots of money to get your lawyer to be present during interview.
for e.g I don't think Rajiv Khanna or sheela Murthy will travel to their clients district office to accompany them for an interview.

Those who have been through this, would you please clarify this.

Usually not a problem

I do not go for any interviews. In the first year of my practice, I used to go. It appeared to be a total waste of our clients' money and my time.

Now, I usually give clients my cell phone number to call if there are any issues dring the interview. I have had no problems so far in the last 15 years.

I am not sure how other lawyers manage this.

can any one tell me how do people have their attorney to accompany them for AOS interview ? especially if the Attorney and client doesn't live in the same State or city.
Thanks

Rajiv Kanna need help
Sir,

My company HR people applied my 485(not lawyer). Now i do have interview in baltimore office in 2 weeks.
Do i need to take any certified documents( or affidavit of support supporting my documents) from any outside lawyer.
I read some where saying that if you dont have a lawyer you need to take certified doc's(or affidavit of lawyer). Is that true.
I am vey tense now.Few of our well wishers are suggesting us to engage a lawyer atleast now.
My employer giving his financial and employment and all other docs.

Pls don't post your questions not related to the thread.

You need to create a separate thread for your question, if it is not related to the question on the current thread.

Jawan1 had a questions and if you know the answer, post it or else move on.

I know, you are very desperate, that doesn't mean, you post on all the threads, since nobody knows an answer to your questions.

I would recommend starting a new thread. It will follow the rules of the message boards. Its like hijacking another guys question. Since you already posted the questiion, if people know the answer, they will answer it.
Don't worry, everything will go fine. Try to contact a lawyer and see what he suggest
