Houston Processing date

When I was looking at the USCIS processing timings for Houston District office, I see a processing date for I-485 as 02/01/2002. I was just wondering if this date is for the cases transferred on 02/01/2002 or a Receipt date of 02/01/2002. The website says the receipt date. But when I call the NCS, they say applications received on 02/01/2002 at the local Houston ofice. Please help. Following is the link

But the link no where says thats its for family based I-485's. My case was transferred on 5/2003 after 18 months sitting at VSC. If theory si correct, my case will not go for an interview in the next 2 yrs.. huh..

It is the receipt date for those who submitted their case directly to that office (i.e., family based immigration etc.). For the employment based 485s, it's the date the local office received the file transfer.

That's not correct. The local offices process I-485s based upon the original receipt date, which for an EB I-485 would be the RD at the Service Center. My I-485 was transferred to Atlanta, and I am in the August 2001 queue based on my I-485 receipt date at VSC.

Since my processing date is 11/01 which is 3 months earlier than the current processing date shown on the USCIS website( 02/01/2002), what action do you think I can take?? Just wait till receive the interview??

No. Call your local Congressman and get their office involved.

I think you guys didn't even receive any written communique about your transfer to local offices and you got to know about it only through the AVM/Website. Right?

Nope. I received a notification from the BCIS saying that my case was transferred to the Houston Office back in May 2003.
