My guess is that cases are assigned to officers on the basis of RD/ND and then it depends on how fast your officer is.

Good luck to all you guys that are still waiting and thanks for your wishes and comments through the process, esp. ciba and mighty count for maintaining their lists.

Fingerprinting question

I have a question regarding fingerprinting. I have got an appointment to
get fingerprinted at Denver, CO.
However I am in San Jose on a temp assignment and will be here for another
3 months.
Can I get my fingerprinting done at San Jose instead of travelling back to
Denver?

BTW, my application has been filed in the California Service Center.

Thx

Did FP in advance at SFO

It was quick, 20 min. My FP is scheduled for 1/5/02. I did it on 12/18/01. My FP notice was in response to a fax enquiry. My WAC# is 01-179.

URGENT : INS-San Jose - no PP stamping on Friday ??

My wife and me are travelling abroad on Saturday and would like to get our passport stamped tomorrow (Friday). The lawyer has a courtesy copy of the approval and we can pick it up but she says that there is no PP stamping on Friday at INS-San Jose. Do you guys know if that is true ?

If any of you San Jose people have your approval handy, could you please check if it says something like no PP stamping on Fridays.

Thanks in advance.

Are approvals coming at slow pace than before?

It seems that INS is taking more time to clear 485\'s at least in recent past.
Will it improve in near future?
Any thoughts....

Happy X-mas and Happy new year

Hi all,

Wish you a very happy long weekend, X-mas and new-year.
Thank you all for your support to each other. I wished most
of us get our approval as a X-mas gift.

Anyway we will wait for a new year gift.

Don\'t think too much about GC, or visit this board during coming
week.

(Anyway the board seems quite lately).

Enjoy. See you with your approval postings soon.

-Sangli.

please help: question on lost EAD card

I recently received the approved EAD card, but the iEAD card (got after 90 days from local INS office) is misplaced. I believe all EAD cards are collected during PP stamping. Do I need to call INS to inform them about this?..(also, could it be misused by someone who comes across it?). Or should I not bother telling INS since the new cards are here anyway? Thanks!
