Finally received FP notice but ...

Received FP notice for me on saturday 11/17 scheduled for 12/11 in
san jose. But my wife didn\'t receive FP notice. AVM message
also not updated for both.
Anybody had similar experience ?

I-485 Approved - April Case & a Question

According to AVM, my I-485 was approved. Below are the details:

Case type : EB2
PD : Aug 2000
RD : Apr 06, 2001
ND : Apr 23, 2001
EAD : June 2001
AP : July 2001
FP : Aug 29 (scheduled Oct 20)
AD : Nov 15, 2001

    I have not yet received the Approval Letters.

Now the question-
I have to travel abroad for 1 month for business purpose. I have given my passport for the foreign Visa. I don\'t think I\'ll be able to get my passport stamped before leaving (due to holidays). Considering the fact that I will get the passport stamped one month later, will that delay my plastic card. Is plastic card dependent on passport stamping ?

My friend, I appreciate your work but your list is not that reliable as Ciba\'s. Data collection is a tough job that may challenge everyone. Not updating the list in time will upset these anxious guys :)
 
Some more info:I-485 Approved - April Case & a Question

I submitted all the documents including tax papers, W2, Birth Certificates and Affidavits.

I used Advance Parole to travel abroad twice for business purpose, and faced no problems whatsoever. Ofcourse, I took a thick file containing all the original documents inclusing I-485 receipts and H1-B petition.

Never called IIO for anything.

Please let me know if I can help anybody in answering any other questions.

I got AP, EAD. I fif my FP on 10/30. I\'m planning to go to India on next month. What documents should I show to immigrant people while coming back.

       Like I mentioned earlier, I had in my possession I-485 receipt notice, Advance Parole, EAD card, some pay stubs, letter from company stating you are currently employed and purpose of travel, business cards, and all previous H1-B receipts during re-entry.

       Most like they will not ask for most of these docuents, but they might come handy. In my particluar case, the officer at the port of entry simply stamped my one (same) Advance Parole both the times. Some basic questions were asked. No secondary inspection.

       You should not worry too much about re-entry in US if you have a valid Advance Parole and an EAD card.

Try to send FP fax inquiry through your lawyer

That helped in my case. INS sent back fax response to my lawyer
saying that soon they will send FP notice. After that I recived
my FP notice last week.
