lol thank you sister, I know that I can make it but it just the feeling of waiting make me scared, but really I will be a lot better when I know my interview date because it will make me feel more relax :?)
 
hi people

I have sent email to KCC on sunday but I have not recived any reply from them till now. I am getting worried . How may days does it normally take for them to reply . Or do i need to call them. I am getting worried.
 
namtrathapa, I recommended you to call them today, it's faster and you can know directly, please do and call them today, and I am sure you will have your interview date and you will make it my friend :)
 
for me they usually take maximum 3 days to replay my emails from kcc, and I sent a lot before lol. and y the way if yous sent them on Sunday that means its there vacation day ( the week end) so I think it's not counted, from some calculations you have to receive there replay today and maximum tomorrow for sure. but calling them is faster my friend :) don't worry

My friend do not worry yourself, i did last week Thursday and they replied yesterday being Wednesday. So it took them 4 working days to reply. My interview is - 1st week of August.

Is like they a someworth bussy this days with DV 2010 & DV 2011. Definately you will get a response today.

I called KCC on 21st, they told me about my interview date.
I called back again today, Jun 17th, they said my letter was sent on 22nd.

I guess all of you will get it soon!

People I am trying to call them from yesterday but I can't pass through the automated voice message. I am really worried any suggestion is welcomed. Was it also the same for you guys whoever called KCC???
 
Namitrathapa, I am with you my friend, don't worry just try to calculate the time difference between your country and the US, maybe you are calling them at night I don't know maybe, but I think they will replay your email today just hang in brother you will be ok, if they don't replay just send the again another email explaining the all situation, my prayers for you, don't worry you will be happy at the end :)

I got the confirmation email today, it took 5 business days. You should call them, it's much faster! I know waiting time is killing us!
 
Hey guys, I am really worried , I have emailed KCC several times but I have not recived till now the reply,I called them and they told me my interview date . Can I go to interview without the 2nd letter or any sort of document from KCC regarding the 2nd letter??

Your 2nd letter will be sent to you with the same address you receive your ist NL towards the 2nd/3rd week of July.

Don't worry, you will surely be current in the next bulletin and your interview will be within 1st/2nd week of September.

If you have a very low number, you have the choice of AOS or CP.If you have a high number your only choice is CP.The advantage of AOS is cost as you can do it from the US without travelling.The disadvantage is that the AOS process has to be completed within a certain time.The advantage of CP is you get a pretty definite time-line and you can gauge when your interview will be. The process is relatively quick.The disadvantage is if you denied then you will find it very difficult to get back into the US.

Yes, my interview date has been scheduled on Aug 2nd in Tokyo. I won't be able to post any information until I get back to the US, after Aug 13th, because my parents' home doesn't have internet access. I will keep you updated whenever I can. Feel free to ask me any questions if you want!

DV visa has been increased

New Consular Fees in Effect on July 13, 2010

New fees for Immigrant Visas will go into effect on July 13, 2010. Fees for Non-Immigrant Visas were increased on June 4, 2010. The revised fees are the same worldwide and cover actual operating expenses for the 301 overseas consular posts, 23 domestic passport agencies and other centers that provide these consular services. The new Immigrant Visa fees are listed below:
