HIB stamping in Chennai - For Recapture Period

I came to US 14 months after my first H1B approval. I have completed 5 yrs of H1B, working for the same employer . Recently my first H1b extension expired , Now I have got my second H1b approved for 14 months (Remaining period of 6 year completion /recapture the period of delay of first entry).

I am planning to apply my second H1b extension revalidation at Chennai in Jan/Feb 2005. Note :My both of my Previous H1b ( Initial H1b, First H1b extension) stamped at Chennai consulate.

Since this Visa approval is for 14 months , will there be any question/issue while applying for second H1b extn Stamping in chennai ?

Should I anticipate any question on reason for delay travelling to US after my Initial Stamping ?

Note : I don't have any issue in my w2's during my last 5 years.

Also, Will it be a good idea to apply for revalidation in Canada ? Note I have Bachelor's degree in Engg from India ( Not having any U.S degree).

Absolutely no problem. But take all the documents including your comp. photos etc.

Thanks Great Guru for clarifying about stamping at Canada.

I am visiting India soon & I am planning to stamp at Chennai . will there be any question on reason for delay ( 14 months) travelling to US after my first Visa approval while applying for stamping in chennai ?
