Hi Gurus, The AP and EAD question

Hi all,

I got a question here , suppose after getting the AP within two weeks of 485 RD and got laid off and want to go home country .Now coming after 180 days from RD(485)and join with another company with same job description and all .

Is INS is going to verify this period of 180 days or they consider the letter of intent from new employer.

If in this case how come some people say that the employer even did not know the I485 application.

Could any one answer these questions??????

Until INS comes with regulations on this matter, nobody is sure.
However answer to your question/scenario is :
You are fine. That is another way to satisfy INS regulations by the book. You need a personal reason to justify why you need to go to home country while 485 was pending (cook up a passionate story)
