Here is the reason, why June visa bulliton jumped by 2 years..

I dont see a reason y EB2 moved 1.4 yrs and EB3 moved 2 yrs as almost always EB2 applicants are lesser than EB3 and they always give preference to higher category...but u know y...USCIS is USCIS.

So I would say, apart from Apr 2005 till Dec 2005 there was not too much EB2 apps filed...and should see a nice movement now on. Sorry am being over optimistic over here...but its just me.

Gravitation:

I agree with you. EB3 is a clear winner these days... considreing this analysis.

What's your take on EB2.. It should be much much better.. No wonder even if it moves upto Dec2005... Do you see any issue in it...

Appreciate your comments.:)

Thanks

i did an analysis and posted on immigration voice...cutting and pasting here

on querying the 2006 data it looks like 7290 perm apps were approved prior to priority date 1/1/2006 from India. The priority dates however range from 1st day of perm 03/28/2005-12/31/2005

approval summary for india by month

March 05 -1
April 05 -13
May 05 -72
June 05 -324
July 05 -351
Aug 05 -833
Sept 05 -1172
Oct 05 -1212
Nov 05 -1541
Dec 05 -1771

Note: no way to break the data down by category (eb1,2,3) but there are a bunch of welders, pipe fitters and cooks in that list. At the same time there are some assistant professors and managers

Do we have names on the Database

Hi Yabadaba:

Thanks for your reply.. Just two questions about the database:

1) Do you see names of Beneficiaries. and
2) Are the Months are Filing Dates or Approval Dates.

Thanks again for your herculian task of researching all of this...:)

We can not predict any movement with this data, as becase it does not have any information about pre-PERM cases (before Mar 05). I belive, lot of people has filed LC between July 2004 to March 2005 before retro as well as PERM kiked in. Most of the LC are in EB2 in this period.

Based on this information, however I belive that on avearge about 1500 LCs have been filed on behalf of Indians every month (wether it is regular or RIR or PERM). If we traslate in to 485 filing per year, it will be about 40,000 visa number requirements for Indians (including dependednts) in EB2 and EB3 catagory. However only 10,000 (7% of 140K) available to Indians in all EB catagories (EB1,2,3). This clearly shows how much demand for GC by Indians.

EB2 INDIA PERM labor PD: 06/09/2005

Mine is EB2 India PERM labor case filed on 09/29/2005.140 approved last year.Initally i filed at VSC.It got transffered to NSC and i filed AC21 after 18 months of working with petetioner and joined in billion dollar company. My case now at Sanfrancisco local office.

I gor i/v notice which is scheduled on June'27th'2007.ANyway my priority dates are restorgressed for June'2007.IF My PD will current from July '2007,i will definately will get approval after July'1st

In Some cases USCIS,Sanfrancisco office will take decision after 7 days.

If my PD will get current from July'1st.I will be more happy.

As per AC21, in last quarter USCIS have to use unused visas. That means Indians may get more that 10,000 per year.

All categories EB1/EB2/EB3 are current now.

For the visa no's not to go for a waste I think they made everything current. Thats good news for all who can file for their 140/485.

Thanks.
GCVaruma.

if there are only 23k pending cases, and you assume they are all EB and per the ombudsman report 40k visa's are unused, not making everything current is criminal!! Lives and futures are at stake here! EB3-ROW can be made current, and India can be taken past that 7% limit to reduce these backlogs. Come on Dept_Of_State, do the right thing!!!!
There might be just 23K pending cases that are not approvable because of priority dates, but there are far more than that which are already current but still not approved yet. With everybody becoming current in July, there will be far more than 140,000 cases pending. Probably double or triple that.
