Dear all,

I e-filed NIW in TSC through the attorney on 15 Jul 2007 and then received the RFE on 15 Jan 2008.
My credentials are a Ph.D. studnet in the US, 5 publications (Only one article has 12 citations), more than 20 media reports, 5 conferences, and so forth.

Originally I filed with 7 recommendation letters including 3 indenpent letters outside US and I guess that's why I received RFE.

My attorney suggested 3 more indepenent letters and now I' m working on the drafts. All independt letters come from
a professor in taiwan who cited my work twice
a professor in the US who work in the same area but I do not know him at all.
a senior engineer with a Ph.D. in the US who work in the company

I'm tying to answer my RFE on my drafts but I'm not sure what I shoud include my drafts.

Are there any "key words and Phrases examples" which I must inculde in my draft in order to answer my RFE effectively? Please advise me. I appreciated you guys help!!! .

Below is my RFE:

1. Describe specifically how the beneficiary's research has had an influence in his field. Provide additional evidence that demonstrates this influence.

2. Submit evidence that clearly shows that others in this filed are adopting the beneficiary's research findings, and/or that companied nationwide have begun using the beneficiary's product.

3. Submit evidence of additional citations of the beneficiary's published works.

Try to get people in industry to write you letters of recommendation.

Your problem seems to be that you are still a PhD student. USCIS has a policy that says that NIW by graduate students should not be granted except for very few rare cases because graduate students supposedly did not have enough time to impact the field yet. Promise of future impact is not good enough, they want to see actual impact.

Thanks, nscagony!
