Help! TN denied

Start date is required in the Letter. As accordingly you will get the visa.

The letter should be dated, however, there is no need to have a start date. I got 3 TNs in the past, just mentioning duration of the TN status and no start date indicated as such

Well now I don't know what to believe! I have 2 versions, one with a start date and one without, maybe I'll just take both.

Start date is NOT required. As long as the duration (upto three years) is there, the letter is fine.

No start date is actually the preferred method. Rose was off base with their advice.
