Help required H4 to F1

Hi

I got married and came to US on H4, now my husband has applied for divorce and case is going on in court. I want to change my h4 to F1 before my divorce.

I got some spousal support enough to admit to a college so I am sponsoring myself. In application 539, there is a question how i am supporting myself what should I right. Do i need to tell that i got the money as spousal support or just say my husband gave it to me?? Also I need to write a letter why I need the change of status? PLEASE HELP

you should keep in mind that when you apply for a change of status, the USCIS will need to know whether you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of education and living expenses through the entire course of your education. It's not just the amount mentioned on your I-20, which is usually for 1 year of educational expenses. maybe you should consult a lawyer.

If you are getting financial support from your ex husband, you need a affficavit from him to file along with your COS.

I don't have the full amount for both year, can my sister sponsor me? will it be a problem as I am married and my sister sponsoring me?
