Iam posting again! somebody plz respond:confused:

I have applied for a change of status from h4 to J1 . My husband has applied for h1 to J2. Both without pay stubs. I am so terrified that i will get a RFE about the paystubs. Do they need the paystubs even if we change to a different visa. There is no way I can get paystubs. My hubby's H1 was not terminated. He was not paid because he was not on a project. This is not like a h1 transfer or extension, right? I don't want to lose the residency that I found at last:(

Dont worry, you should be fine.

J1 visa advice, please help, same situation as your, thanks

Hi,
My name is ash. Me and my wife are in same situation as we read abt you in immigration portal site. 6 yrs. of H1/H4, 2 yrs for labor application and no decision. She wants to pursue her residency on J1. And I'm on H1. (my email is "ashmak@gmail.com")
after hours of net searching i found your query from April 2003 in immigrationportal web site. You were discussing and asking questions on getting J1. Can you please take some time and help/advice us how to go about this? Do's and Dont's? Were you able to secure J1 after 6 years of H4? INS rules are not very clear on this.
Please please guide us.
thanks, ur reply is mch appreciated,
ash. (ashmak@gmail.com)
