help please - h4 at Chennai - RFE

A friend of mine got recently married and applied for his spouses
H4 at Chennai. Am not sure what he filled in the visa application
but here is what they asked further...

1. Recent letter of offer from the US Company
(original).

2. Interior and exterior photos of the principal at
work.

3. Interior and exterior photos of the principal at
home.

4. Principal's certified or notarized state and
Federal tax returns for the last three years.

5. Original W-2 forms and Pay Stubs for every year
worked in the US.

6. W-2 forms for all people employed by the
petitioner

Items 1 to 5 seem to be OK..but 6 seems to be totally out
of context. How can some company give out W2s of the
other employees working.....

Has anyone faced this before ? Gurus out there please help.

This is really unheard of. i dont know what prompted them to ask #3 and #6. Like you dont have a home here? May be they are suspecting the company of fraud!?? Is it a small company (body shopping?) or a not so small company? I guess, If they are not suspecting the company they probably wouldnt ask w2 of all employees. What I dont understand is why they are asking #6 for H4?
