help on EAD renewal..attorney trying to rip off

Mine and my wife's EAD expires Jan, 2005. The form says EAD renewal must be applied 6 months before expiry. Is it ok if I send the renewal app now??

I am on H1 and my wife is on advanced parole.

Can someone help me what I should put for these questions on 765 form?

10. Alien Registration Number or I-94

WHere do I find Alien registration number for my wife? I think I can specify I-94 number. Where can I find my Alien registration number?


11. Have you ever applied for EAD..?

I'll say Yes. Granted and from Laguna Niguel.

14. Manner of last entry (Visitor, Student etc)?

i am on H1, what should i say for that?
my wife is in advance parole. what should i say for her?

15. Current Immigration status. (Visitor, Student etc)?

we both are working. i am on H1. shes using her EAD.

16. Since my 485 is pending i should say (c)(9). is that right?

where should i mail the apps to? i am in san jose, california.

what documentation should i provide? i am attaching 2 recent pics for each of us. copies of EAD. copy of 485, 140 pending notices.

can i get a sample cover letter?

can i mail cashiers checks? what should i write the checks for? i believe its $175 now.

please help. attorney wanted to chage $2000 for this.

------ I-94 # is on I-94 and A# is on your I-485 filing reciept and your wife A# is on her I-485 filing reciept ( you can also find A# on EAD it has extra 0 and then A#)

what documentation should i provide? i am attaching 2 recent pics for each of us. copies of EAD. copy of 485, 140 pending notices for your wife attach copy of marriage certificate, pay the correct fees to USCIS, write your A#, BOB, Name at back of photographs , you both MUST attach coloer copies of Driving licence or State ID AND Color copy of your Passport First page that has your Photo, DOB, name with your applications, dont mail both your EAD and wife EAD application in Same envelope, they do the mistake you may get your EAD card with her photo and she may get her EAD with your photo( they are expert in fixing diffrent photo) out side the envelope write in BIG bold letters : Form I-765 for EAD renewal

can i get a sample cover letter?
------ just write what you have attached, sign the letter with date, name, address and keep the copies of the pakage you sent to USCIS with you
can i mail cashiers checks?
---- YES, you CAN also send your personal check for USCIS fees
what should i write the checks for?
---USCIS
i believe its $175 now.

----- when you got your earlier EAD it was rapped in Paper it has TOP portion, you will have your TOP portion and your Wife will have her TOP portion check the names and address on TOP portion it has your addrees, name and A# on it, tear that TOP portion from the long paper and attach with your application and your wife will attacht Het TOP mailer with her application

** send the diffrent envelops with certified return reciepts
