Hi,
I am working in a company based in St. Louis, MO. I am getting an offer in a company in New York. I have been on EAD since November 2002. I got my I-140 approved in October 2002. The receipt date for my I-485 is February 2003.
My job profile stays the same as mentioned in the Labor Certification. But my salary is increased from whet I was getting in St. Louis.
I would like to understand regarding the following:
1. Will it impact the processing of Green Card because St. Louis falls under Nebraska where as New York is under Vermont?
2. Will my files be moved from Nebraska to Vermont? Will they carry the same priority date?
3. Is the AC-21 issued in St. Louis good for New York also?
I am supposed to tell yes/no to the company in New York in couple of days. Earlier they did not think it is an issue to move the GC process. Now they are debating if it will have any impact.
ANY HELP ON THIS IS GREATELY APPRECIATED.
Thanks
Vriksha
