Help: Naturalization Interview and state ID from wrong state

I moved during my naturalization process and my file was lost, interview rescheduled several times. Well I finally got a call saying my file arrived and my interview is scheduled for next week.

The issue is that I still have my driver's license from my previous state (it has been over 3 months since I moved). If I apply for one in my current state, they will give me a piece of paper that acts as a driver's license and the actual thing will arrive in 1.5 months. (I will have to surrender my existing dl)

I'm not sure if the piece of paper will be enough for identification but if I go to the interview with my old state's id, I feel that may not look very good since you're supposed to switch before 3 months.

Sorry about the long winded background but my question is "Am I better off going with the old license or with the temporary one from my new state?"

Thank you in advance for the help.

If you permanently moved to the new state, you were supposed to obtain DL from new state and stop using old DL.
Did you notify USCIS of your move and is your interview scheduled under new district area?

Yes I did notify them and my interview is in the new district. I completely realized I should have gotten new dl. However I overlooked the issue with the overall craziness of relocating our family. I guess given the timing issue, what's the best way to proceed.

Take temporary license; these do have picture on them and can be used for ID purposes but may not be sufficient for naturalization interview purposes. Take utility bills from since you moved to new location along.
Other option obviously is to delay interview till you get new ID.

Obtain your temporary IL and bring it along with other evidence such as rental/mortgage agreement, utlities etc.. that shows you've been residing in the new state for over 3 months.

Definitely don't show up at the interview with the old state ID. That is like telling them you're still living in that state. Better to bring the temporary "piece of paper" or don't bring any state ID at all.
