I moved during my naturalization process and my file was lost, interview rescheduled several times. Well I finally got a call saying my file arrived and my interview is scheduled for next week.
The issue is that I still have my driver's license from my previous state (it has been over 3 months since I moved). If I apply for one in my current state, they will give me a piece of paper that acts as a driver's license and the actual thing will arrive in 1.5 months. (I will have to surrender my existing dl)
I'm not sure if the piece of paper will be enough for identification but if I go to the interview with my old state's id, I feel that may not look very good since you're supposed to switch before 3 months.
Sorry about the long winded background but my question is "Am I better off going with the old license or with the temporary one from my new state?"
Thank you in advance for the help.
