after the letter that I got on Saturday (request for BIO), I got another the next day which talks about change of adress. this is surprising as I have never changed my adress recently. besides, they send the request for BIO just a a day before and it does not talk about change of adress. what scare me more is the content of the letter. it reads like this.
"Your adress has been updated in our system. Due to the pending case load at the Nebraska Service Center, the processing time of your application/petition has been extended. Allow extra time for an officer to review your application. your application/petition is being reviewed by an officer and you will be notified as soon as a decision is made." I called them the next day to find out as to what it mean but this guy is telling me that he does not know how I got it and as long as I have the right adress in file I should not worry.

qsheba! Dial 800 number...

After selecting English, then option 2 for pending application, then #6 for case status. Entered the receipt #, patiently listened to the same status message as your online account, and then chose #3 (continue to next step). Then option 2 ( a notice has mailed to you ) -- even though you don't know whether the BIO notice has mailed to you or not because other options don't sound appropriate or helpful, either. Finally option #1( it has been more than 14 days since the notice mailed to you). After this, you'll be transferred to NSC (I believe they know where to route your call based on your receipt #).

Once an IO from NSC answers your phone, confirm your address with him/her. They would be able to tell you whats in their system.

best,
