Help Me! H1 transfer to a higher position

Hi,

My current H1 is for a "Technical Specialist" position where I "assist" executives. Now, I have found a job where I will be an executive myself, which means a much higher position. Can I transfer my H1 to this new position without having to go through the quota thing? Any suggestions are welcome.
