My friend has been married to a U.S citizen for over 2 years now. But the husband has been cheating and now wants a divorce. Her green card expires in February 2009. She has evidence to prove the marriage was real. It is not her fault that the husband wants to divorce and marry someone else. He has agreed to write a letter saying that he fell in love with someone else and wanted the divorce through no fault of hers. Can she file form I-751 after the divorce is final?
