How are you everyone?
I am a student(currently F-1) and my i-20 is going to expire in Auguest.
Currently I plan to finish my study this summer and go to study at
another school and have applied for admission to another school.
But at the same time I submitted my i-485 (my GC application is
due to my mom) in May and scheduled a FP appointment for early August;
I wondered if I can get i-20 from this new school
if obtaining admission and hold a new F-1 status? or if not, can I extend
my i-20 at current school to keep studying at the same school?
I heard that F-1 visa can only be approved to people without immigration
tendency? but I obviosly do.
So does that mean when i-485 pending, we are not allowed to study
but can only work in U.S.? Or can I use another status to study in
the U.S.?

Since you already have an I-485 pending, you need no other status to live or study in the US. Do not bother with an i-20 or an F-1.

Thanks for your attention.
Do you mean I don't need to get i-20?
But I am still an international student, right?
and should I just tell the school I am in a status
of i-485 pending?
Thanks.

You do not need an I-20, nor are you an international student in the eyes of USCIS. Don't bother with SEVIS.

Exactly.
