Hello,

I had my interview today. The officer was very nice and quick. He asked me if i still work for the employer who sponsored by GC and he requested the employment letter to keep in the file.

Other than that he did not ask me for any other document. He stamped my Passport and said that i will get the card in mail.

Hope it helps for anyone having similar situation as mine.

Thanks

Congrats jnatarajan/ I recd. an interview notice from ATL

Congrats jn.

Finally, I recd. an interview notice from ATL for August end at 2pm with officer E.

Do I need to go there at 1pm or 6am? I have a second FP scheduled for next week (per USCIS notice). I had the medical done in Oct 2001. Do I need a new medical for the interview?

Any comments on Officer E?

Thanks for your help.

any experience with 245 EB case interview? What is officer F ?

Hello please tell me if somebody had an interview experience with EB case, filed under sec. 245i. in Atlanta.

Interview in ATL

The process is simple. They look for letter of current employment, past W2, and federal tax returns. Also take copies of all these docs along with a copy of DL. If birth certificate was not submitted, take the original and a copy. In lieu of BC, take two affidavits and certificate of non-availability.

They ask questions reg where you work, what sort of work, and travel since filing AOS. If you have current EAD or AP, take those with you. CIS keeps those docs.

The interview is really simple, nothing like the long wait to get to that stage.

The ASC will usually take your FP before the scheduled date. Try to get the FP as quickly as possible. You don't want the process to linger because of this.

No need to go to the office at 6 am. Just about 5 min ahead of the scheduled interview time is fine.

Good Luck ...

You won't, until about 10-14 days after the FP is completed. Try and go early if you can.

The FP notice very specifically forbids one from going early for FP. Do you think, it is a perfunctory advisory and one can give a shot for earlier FP? Kindly advise.

ADO - ATL - New Processing Date - 03/27/2002

The new date for ATL ADO, according to the website is RD of 03/27/2002. Did any of the June/July/August 2002 RD filers with Atlanta District Office get their interview notices? Kindly reply.

poongunranar,

My FP interview is also on Oct 6 in Atlanta, and also debating over trying to do it earlier, please let me know what you decided.

Also can you post the website where you got the ATL ADO?

My case is still at the TSC so not sure if it will be transfered or not.
Whats your experience on transfered cases, how long does the transfer delays the processing of the application?

Thanks

Kerb

Friend - I have decided to just go on the scheduled date, as I am really slammed at work and cannot take any time off and don't want to try my luck and end up spending time in vain. Others have reported success at ATL Finger-printing office. So, let us see if they step in to answer your question.

ATL ADO usually goes by RD. Therefore, if your case transfers it will be put in queue and depending upon your RD you will be called. Currently, ADO is "unofficially" inviting August and September 2002 cases for interview.

I am August 2002 filer and yet, I haven't got any interview notice. :(
