Hello,

I got my GC interview for next week through employer A. I did not work for employer A for past 2 years and started working for him since Jan 04.

In meantime i have been working for employer B.

So, in the interview if the officer asks for W2 , i do not have W2 from employer A to show the officer. Would it create any issues.

Can i show the officer IRS transcripts instead of W2?

Thanks

Did you violate AC-21 provisions? (Did you file for I-485 with 'A' and then move to 'B' before 180 days had elapsed?)

Also, please provide more details while asking pointed questions for your own benefit. This will help you by making the respondents provide pointed answers bereft of any speculation.

Hi,

I am not using AC21 privilages. I used to work for employer A when my labor was filed and i joined employer B. But employer A continued processing my GC.

Since begining of this year, i have 2 full-time employment , one with employer A and other with employer B.

As of now, i have a current employment letter from employer A. But i do not have W2 with employer A.

I am not sure if that would be any issue in the interview.

Thanks

Hi Natrajan,

I don't think anyone will be able to provide a clear answer to you question. However, since your situation is a little unique, I would appreciate if you would update us on your interview results next week. My case was also transfered to a local office and I don't work for the sponsoring employer. I am also curious to know if that is an issue for them at all.

Good luck with your interview and keep us updated.

I am afraid that your application is flawed, especially when you were not working for A, but for B. Of course, I will be very impressed if ATL discovers that fact, especially when you are currently working for A. Therefore kiss your stars and do well in your interview. That is the only thing you can do right now. So, go with aplomb.

I will appreciate if you can throw more light on your RD, ND, FP, TD and Interview Date for posterity.

I would take employment verification letter from company a that they are willing to hire you, position, salary. You can then explain you just joined them in January.

The only possible issue with this case at interview would be establishing intent to work permanently after approval. Since you are already working for the sponsor and can provide evidence of this, this will be completely a non-issue. Do not worry.

Can you shed some light on your application details?

I agree with real canadian............you can argue that you will be employed with Combany A after the approval of your 485. You can get a letter from employer A stating that..when you go for the interview. I dont think it will be a problem since your GC is based on future employment (not your past).

Also, could you please some details about your application..ie ND, RD, TRANSFER DATE AND SO ON....

wish you all the best :)

thanks

I am amazed that ATL is calling for interviews with RD 03/2002 when they are officially inviting applicants with RD 07/2001.

One question: Did you personally apply any kind of pressure for interviews? Or it just so happened that ATL called you on their own? Why am asking is that I may have to get ready for my interview, just as cinta, as both of us are having our RD around 08/2002 and 09/2002. Please clarify.

Thanks!

ATL Second FP Notice recd. with List of Docs for Interview

I recd. a notice for 2nd FP with an attached list of docs (for a future interview). No interview notice yet.

Would I have to get a second medical done? (medical mentioned in the list) Have they ever asked for Employer's financial statements? (also mentioned in the list)

Natrajan, What all documents have they asked to bring to the interview? I think that will give you a general idea of what they may be up to.

My personal experience from the forum is that evetually every interviewed EB case get approved. It is just a matter of time.

Once again good luck for your interview. I know you must be quite anxious right now and you need every bit of luck.

My own Interview experince will help you a lot since my case is similar to yours..

My Green card was filed by company A.

Company A gave me a laid off during I-140 stage.

Joined Company B for an year using new H1-B..during this time my I-140 got approved.

Company A filed my I-485 based on a future employment..got EAD..

Joined and working for a company C for almost 2 years..

During Emp. RFE - I provided W2 of company B and company C for 2002 and informed USCIS in AC-21 letter about my situation with 3 companies....

During interview..I provided W2 for company C only..officer asked me: are you currently working for company B since it was showing in the original I-485 application last company I was working..I said no and said working for a company C..she asked why? I said got better offer in company C..then she asked are these both jobs are in same field..I said yes..I had a big differnce in even salary from company b and c (+ 30 k higher salary in C) The officer was said fine..state was also different.

So don't worry about that..don't hide any W2..provide W2 for whatever company you worked for for any years..They don't care..they only care is that you have current job in same field and you will continue with them..they don't care which company are you working/worked for.

Hope this will help you..

Good luck!

Hello All,

I did not request for interview. My case got transferred by INS. Along with the general list of documents they asked me to brign the original Birth certificate and employment verification letter.

Does it help you help me?

Thanks

jnatarajan,

No one request for an interview..INS only makes that decision..

Main important documents are:

(1) Employment verification letter.

(2) last year (2003) tax papers.

additional:

(1) Copy of medical you did in the meeting..my officer asked for that and I said we already submitted..she checked it and found in the file.

(2) Better to carry original birth certificates plus copy also (officer didn't ask us).

many other listed in atlanta local transfer thread in vermont service center.

Hello,

I had my interview today. The officer was very nice and quick. He asked me if i still work for the employer who sponsored by GC and he requested the employment letter to keep in the file.

Other than that he did not ask me for any other document. He stamped my Passport and said that i will get the card in mail.

Hope it helps for anyone having similar situation as mine.

Thanks

Congratulations -- ADO is officially now processing Dec 5, 2001

Congratulations, jnatarajan.

Officially ADO is processing Dec 5, 2001 now. As JNATARAJAN's case proved, ADO is unofficially inviting applicants with ND/RD somewhere around MARCH 2002, APRIL 2002. That is good news!!
