It’s been over a year since I got my plastic and life hasn’t changed much for me (except for easy travel to Canada twice! I tell ya’, the crossing is a breeze!)

I haven’t contributed much recently and I am sure my id may not even be noticed (at least by the newcomers to this forum). Except that I-485 process jumped from 12 months to 18+ months, the level of frustrations & worries seem to be the same.

So with this quick peek, let me sign off at least for a while. Wishing all GC-seekers prompt approvals soon.

Only advantage you will be getting with GC is

Yes! GC does make a difference in the job markets. I haven't changed jobs yet and so, I am yet to see its blessings. GC definitely helps against unethical employer tactics.

Hang tough! The tunnel may be long & windy but the dawn will break soon.
 
Good Question! I am a little wary with this slow economy to look right now.

Now with the color season starting soon followed by another harsh winter (I suppose), I guess I'll hibernate till next spring.

What do you think, folks? Is it a good time for a change in job? What cities have plenty of IT jobs and yet is economical?
