Hardly any July/Aug approvals....whats going on!!!!!

Mine is also August 2003 filing. It would be close to 2 months since my FP was done. I have seen absolutely no movement on my case. LUD is stuck forever on where it was at the time of 485 filing. Does anyone know for how many days CIS would be closing for Christmas, and New Year??
 
I guess this is it guys as far as this year is concerned.... I have given up on any more hopes for Aug filers as far as the next 2 weeks are concernde...

However I do wish md_rockville approval before the priority dates retrogress....even if that means before mine... !!!!

By the way I contacted FBI office and was told that finger prints were
sent to USCIS same day.....

a one year period fully scanned

nemessis used to regularly make scans of 16000+ I-485 cases. His last post is here http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=125115&page=17&pp=15, see post#254.

The scan corresponds to all cases for selected days, spaced a week apart through the entire fiscal yr 2003.
This is the most comprehensive, accurate and informative scan you will possibly find anywhere. It is more accurate and informative than any of the trackers.
The graphical representation of the data allows also historical comparison of how cases are being processed through the year. Since he had done scans at semi-regular intervals.
It is the best way to figure out what is VSC really up to.

Unfortunately nemessis case was transferred to local office so he will not do these scans anymore. He has offered his database to anyone who wants to continue the scans. Any takers?

I-140/I-485 ND - 8/28/2003
I-140 AD - 5/2004
FP Done at Newark - 10/7/2004 (No FP notice yet for wife)
LUD : 11/11/04, 11/24/04, 11/30/04, 12/1/2004 (for both of our case)

Message did not change in all these LUDs. It was same "received your app on 8/28/03..."

Message changed on 12/14/04 for both of us with RFE.

RFE on I-485 for both of us - 12/14/04 (wife had positive TB, couldn't take X-Ray cuz she was expecting at that time).

Eagerly waiting for RFE.

One employee in our compnay with same ND/RD of I-485 got approved without any RFE.

Atlease they are looking on our case. :(
 
? could be the reason for no change in spouse,s status

As I posted earlier our ND were 070103 and my I485 got approved on 12/15/04 but there is no change in my wife' s case. Even LUD did not change. Could it be beacause of EAC # mine ends with 028 and her,s with 111 though her case is derived on my case, until now every thing has been together, even FP notices were together for the same date. Should I expect an RFE or an approval in a few days? Any thoughts. Thanks for shedding any lights on the situation.

Been there, am not gettin' much idea now.

Enjoy your vacation. I was planning to take vacation, but I was thinking I may not enjoy due this tension, whereever I go.

Yup -- they appear to have completely updated their stats. Very useful -- I just wish they would clarify how / when these stats are updated (the last update for 2003 VSC I-485 cases was on 11/14/04, more than a month ago).

"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on August 13, 2003. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

Anybody else in this situation.....
