H4B to TN Status

I am on TD visa now and my husband has filed for H1b and then apply for GC. If he gets it then my status will change to H4B. It is tough to stay home and do nothing due to this dependent status. I would like to know :
1. If is get a job under NAFTA list of professions (which has more professions than H1B i suppose)to work under TN status, what will happen to my application for GC?
2. If I choose to do masters, can I do internship / assistantship with H4B status?

As soon as you apply for GC (at the I-485 stage) you cannot get TN.
2. No, you wold need to switch to an F or J.
