Hi, I had applied for an H4 in India for my wife which is still in process. I changed my job and am applying for a new H1. If my wife gets the H4 visa before I get my new H1, can she still come to US or does she have to wait till I get my new H1.

Does the port of entry make a difference for entering the US, I mean if my earlier company (H1) was from California and I am now in New York, would it matter or give a doubt to the officer about the different port of entry for my wife......Thanks.

---------- IF she gets H4 visa stamped she can come before H4 expires, for Her H4 your change of company has nothing to do she can enter US if she has Visa with past company name on it H4 is attached to your status not with particular company
