Hi there,

1. Anyone know how long does it take to change name in Indian passport after marriage (and the procedure)

2. When we go for H4 stamping should the passport contain new modified husband's name...Is this mandatory ?

3. Are there any other paperwork other than husband's H1B copy, marriage certificate, photo albums etc needed for H4 stamping...

A1: Can't help you here.
A2: It is not mandatory at all. Not all wives take their husbands' last name.
A3: That should cover it.
