H4 visa within one year in usa

I recently came to usa in april 2008 and started working from oct 2008
my pay totals to 10000. I wish to send my papers for my wife in Dec
it is risky because my amount for this year is only 10000 ?

You are clearly out of status because you did not earn the amount listed on your H1B petition.

if possible have my employer pay in advance to match up the H1 petition amount ?
